Loren Compton-Williams is an Associate Portfolio Manager responsible for Domestic Equity Strategies at Herndon Capital Management.
Prior to joining Herndon Capital, Loren worked with a boutique firm, as an investment advisor to endowments and foundations, with a focus on emerging and frontier markets for real assets, public and private investments. She held responsibility for sourcing, identifying, evaluating and monitoring fund managers. In addition, she was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan where she advised large corporate and financial services clients on short-term investment strategies. Prior to J.P. Morgan, she was a Vice President and Equity Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for the U.S. Active Equity Value investment team. In her role as a member of the portfolio management team, she was responsible for analyzing, identifying, recommending and directly investing in publicly traded U.S. equity securities in the Financial Services, Energy and Basic Materials sectors.
She graduated cum laude and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where she was a Robert Toigo Fellow.
