Shantell Hall is a Junior Trader who is responsible for building and executing domestic trades for both our institutional and wrap program accounts as well as monitoring directed brokerage and firm-wide commissions. In addition to her trading responsibilities Shantell also assists with the UMA model platforms.
Prior to joining Herndon Capital Management, LLC in 2013, Shantell began her career in the financial industry in 1998 with SunTrust Bank, branch services, as a Bank Teller. In 2001, she joined MTC/Atlanta Job Corps Center in their accounting department as an Accounting Clerk with responsibilities including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and assisting with month end closings. In 2004, Shantell joined Silverton Bank, formerly known as The Banker’s Bank, in their Capital Markets division as a Bond Portfolio Analyst to reconcile and maintain client portfolios and prepare monthly statements. While with Silverton, she also worked with the Trading and Safekeeping departments. In 2009, she joined Nissens North America as an Office Manager and Full-charge Bookkeeper with in their International Sales division before moving on to Reliance Trust in 2011 as an Accounting and Reporting Analyst responsible for reconciling defined benefit pension and trust plans and preparing monthly statements.
Shantell received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Saint Leo University. Shantell is pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Financial Analytics at the Keller Graduate School of Management.
